Research On The Conservation Status Quo And Strategy For Provincial Historic City Of Yuzhou In Henan Province

At present,all the national historic cities are at the critical point of crisis and chance.Unprecedented attention and unparalleled destroy co-exist in the current situation of historic cities.Accompany with the high speed of cities'development, cultural heritage,historical environment and city characteristics have been also badly damaged and the main manifestation is constructive damage.Meamwhile with the improvement of economic level and the development of social cultural enterprises, more attention is paid to city environment and culrural construction in city construction in city construction,not only value on single material construction as before, Goverment,the pubic and other social organizations are thinking more highly of the conservation for cultural heritage and historic environment.It has been more than 20 years since Yuzhou city was determined as one of the first of historic cities by Henan provincial government in 1989,but the present historical and cultural protection work in this city is in an alarming situation.By analyzing the historical and cultural resources in Yuzhou city and the research of the the current situation of the city conservation planning work,through summarizing,investigation and analysis to arrive at the problems existed in the historic city conservation work.The essay is constituted by six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction section which mainly introduced the background of this essay,the purpose and significance of the study,the research framework and research methods the author used.The second chapter introduced the basic situation of Yuzhou city,which has a profound historical culture including the intangible cultural heritage,then introduced the urban development and urban planning of Yuzhou city.The third chapter is a summarize of current situation of this historic city,which come from the analysis and research on the current situation of the officially protected monument and sites,and the urban landscape of Yuzhou city.The fourth chapter studied the specific requirements of conservation planning of historic city in China,such as formulation,examination and approval and the planning achievements.The fifth chapter introduced several historic city conservation planning in Yuzhou history,and compare with the corresponding requirement,arrived at the problems exsisted in Yuzhou city protection planning, through the interview to urban planning units and city construction departments, analyzed their attitude and influence toward conservation planning of historic city.The sixth chapter put forward the protection strategy of historic city in Yuzhou,including policies to provincial historic city and the suggestions to the administrative departments & the local government from government entities of all levels,finally,the article puts forward the personal opinions about the future protection work of the provincial historic city——Yuzhou city included.
