| This paper has done a systematic summarizing on characters and use of aluminum hydroxide raw material for solid surface application, and precipitation mechanism of sodium aluminate solution. Through experimental study on process stages such as precipitation method, fillers processing and grain composition etc, production process conditions has been fixed, to manufacture aluminum hydroxide fillers for high strength solid surface application and aluminum hydroxide fillers with low viscosity and low oil absorption for solid surface application.Using jet mill classifier for continuous-seed-precipitated preparation aluminum hydroxide raw material for processing experiment, when adjusting jet mill frequency about 11 Hz and classifier about 46Hz,aluminum hydroxide product HWF50SP suitable for application of solid surface with high impact strength has been worked out. Solid surface casted with product of this specification has ball impact strength height reaching 35cm, able to keep the same level as that of Japan Sumitomo's CW350.A blank in China has been filled.Using different precipitation method to process aluminum hydroxide, With the size of aluminum hydroxide decreased, solid surface strength also increases with.Using the HWF50SP as raw material, aluminum hydroxide amount for 55-65, balls impact resistance of solid surface achieves maximum height.Using continuous-seed-precipitated aluminum hydroxide HWF90SP and HWF14 as raw material to do mixing experiment research, aluminum hydroxide product HWF25MSP with low viscosity and low oil absorption for solid surface application has been preparated, viscosity specification<20000cp, oil absorption<20ml/100g, better than the same grade product 25BSP produced by Chalco Zhongzhou Branch. |
