Shikchin buddhist temple site located in the north silk road, which is india buddhism of east transfer and one of importent hub of the central plains buddhism of west transfer. It's the largest buddhist temple and the buddhist centre in Yanqi, as one of the 36 western states at that time. Shikchin buddhist temple site is listed as national cultural heritage site in 1961. This site has been burned in the history, stolen excavation by foreign explorers, and attacked by severe weather in Shikchin. It has been seriously damaged. Especially in modern times, natural and man-made factors speed up the rate of destruction. Therefore, the protection of Shikchin temple site today becomes an urgent task.Firstly this paper expounds the value of the Shikchin buddhist temple site, and then summarizes the site of disease type and carried out the analysis of its causes through analyzing the site of the existing environment. On this basis, it makes the gas-solid two-phase flow numerical simulation using CFD software. Secondly, the paper roughly selects reinforcement materials through laboratory experiments. At last, it makes reinforcement measures based on numerical simulation results and lab results. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Analyzing the disease mechanism and damage form of the site. Concluded:the wind and rain erosion is a major factor and force of site broken.(2)Analyzing gas-solid two phase flow using numerical simulation software. It showed that:the amount of wind erosion is larger at edges and corners of sites; Proposed a method which reduce the amount of wind erosion at root of wall in using pilasters.(3)Exploring materials for Shikchin site protection. Laboratory tests showed that: the materials of silicone-acrylate resins could improve the performance of the samples to some extent.
