Aimed at the deficiency of research and development in dam safety monitoring and information management system at home and abroad, considering the developing demand of earth-rockfill dam safety monitoring and management, information management system for earth-rockfill dam safety monitoring based on the mixed structure of B/S (Browser/Server) structure-based and C/S (Client/Server) structure-supplemented have been researched. Based on B/S and C/S mixed structure, in the.NET development platform, the system is designed and realized by mainly adopting ASP.NET (C#) technique and SQL server 2005 as a back-end database. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) The building of the system structure. Studied the working principle and the advantage and disadvantage of C/S structure and B/S structure, for the advantage of C/S structure and B/S structure, combined of earth-rockfill dam safety monitoring and management development needs, builded the information management system for earth-rockfill dam safety monitoring based on the mixed structure of B/S structure-based and C/S structure-supplemented.(2) Researched in the technical method of system development. Major the information management system for earth-rockfill dam safety monitoring development platform.NET technology, Web Page Programming ASP.NET technology and ADO.NET data access technology have been studied.(3) The process and analysis method of system monitoring data. Studied the identification and processing of systematic error, random error and gross error, established the statistical model of deformation and seepage of monitoring data, and used the stepwise regression analysis method, analysed the relationship between effect size and the dependent variable of the earth-rockfill dam.(4) System design and implement. Combined of earth-rockfill dam safety monitoring and management development need, reseached and developed the information management system for earth-rockfill dam safety monitoring based on the mixed structure of B/S structure-based and C/S structure-supplemented. In the.NET development platform, the system function module is designed and realized by mainly adopting ASP.NET (C#) technique and SQL server 2005 as a back-end database. Engineering applications show that information management system for earth-rockfill dam safety monitoring based on the mixed structure of B/S structure-based and C/S structure-supplemented was effective in the practical engineering operation, can monitoring and feedback information of dam safety monitoring in time, ensure the safe operation of the dam.
