Asphalt concrete core-wall rockfill dam is one of the main types of earth-rock dam.The principle part of the dam which plays a supporting role is made of moraines and gravel and its middle position setting asphalt concrete core-wall plays an anti-seepage role. Asphalt concrete core-wall having many advantages of favorable deformation resistance ability, anti-erosion ability, anti-aging ability and all core-wall 1 does not need to set the structure joints and so on is one of the preferred impervious body of rockfill dam for many projects. The development trend of modern asphalt concrete core-wall rockfill dam is to build higher and higher and the size of the project is larger and larger. Therefore, study on the test performance, deformation features and mechanical model of hydraulic engineering asphaltic concrete is a very urgent matter.First of all, this paper systematically analyses the characteristics, effect factors and solution of model parameters of asphaltic concrete triaxial test under the results predecessors have been received.Secondly, based on the triaxial test data in the different confining pressure, different temperature and different test loading rate, combined with the working mechanism of the asphalt concrete triaxial test, the variation of stress-strain curve in static triaxial test under these factors affect are studied.Thirdly, according to the original data of laboratory triaxial tests and solving principles and methods of asphalt concrete Duncan-Chang E-B model, the seven parameters of the E-B model are obtained, the results indicate that the model parameters changes regularly with the temperature and test loading rate.Based on the model parameters, correlation analysis method of gray system theory is used to study the close link level between effect factors and parameters of asphalt concrete Duncan-Chang E-B model, the primary and secondary sort of effect factors, pros and cons of parameters that reflect the materials' characteristics are rceived.Fourthly, based on the reaearch and analysis of nonlinear finite element calculation, combined with the three-dimensional finite element numerical analysis theory and generic software ADINA, some sepecial boundary analogy issues such as contacts, grading load and how these problems achieved in ADINA are discussed. Finally, taking the Chongqing Guanyindong asphalt concrete core-wall dam for example, this paper focuses on the safety and stability analysis of the whole dam and core-wall, the three-dimensional finite element of the asphalt concrete core-wall dam is carried by generic software ADINA, and calculation results of the dam stress deformation in construction and water storage conditions are obtained. Then based on Duncan-Chang E-B model parameters obtained from the lab, with the three-dimensional physical model, the sensitivity analysis of the parameters are conducted. In this paper, the above-mentioned models and methods lay a necessary theoretical foundation in for the research and forecasting of asphalt concrete core-wall materials' characteristics and stress and deformation, and the test results and calculation results also have an important reference and application value to the similar projects.
