The problems that shortage of energy sources and pollution of environment in the word have become more and more serious. The delicate problems compel scientists to change the energy structure and search for the new energy sources. Solar energy is a ideal energy source with the advantages such as cleanness,inexhaustibility and safety. And the research on PV generation is significant for solving energy crisis, reducing environmental pollution and greenhouse effect. In view of the conversion efficiency of PV generation system relatively still be low, it is important to use the MPPT in the PV generation to extract the maximum solar energy.On the basis of analyzing development of domestic PV industry and the principle of photovoltaic power generation, a stand-alone photovoltaic generation system based on TMS320F2812 DSP was designed. The major work was done in this paper as follows:(1) The development of domestic PV industry and the principle of photovoltaic power generation was summarized. And I combined with the output characteristics, analyzed the necessity of the maximum point tracking. At last, a feasible maximum power tracking control method was put forward. (2) A stand alone photovoltaic generation controlling system based on Boost converter was designed on basis of introducing the merits and demerits of widely using DC-DC converter.(3) The lead-acid batteries charging circuit satisfied the system requirement was designed after analyzing the electrochemical reaction principle. Such circuit can avoid over charging and over discharging phenomenon in effective and use the energy of PV system in the great extent.(4) Stand alone photovoltaic generation system based on TMS320F2812 DSP was designed. The main circuit parameters, the control circuit for the main unit, the driver circuit and the protection circuit were designed too.(5) The CAN Bus interface expanded in solar power generation system laid the technical foundation for networking. GSM technology was introduced to the power generation and SMS technology was used for long-distance data transmission. So, long-range system working in the monitored condition is realized on this technology.
