Research On Acoustical Design On The Multi-purpose Meeting Room

In recent years, for functional requirements such as meetings, academic exchanges, speeches, press releases and so on, many units constructed a number of the meeting rooms, auditoriums and so on to meet the features designed. But with the spectacular economic advance, meeting rooms also from a simple meeting, academic reports and other functions evolved into a combination of entertainment programs on the use of multi-functional meeting rooms. This is the topic we are going to discuss and study. The room sounds rather vague and has focusing sound, echo, multiple echo, and many other acoustic defects, such as an auditorium, because the room is large by volume, the mean free path is longer, and reverberation time is too long. In order to get a good sound quality effect, conducting a comprehensive building acoustics, electro-acoustic processing for multi-functional conference rooms is imperative.This article was based on the needs of multi-function meeting room to show this conference room acoustic design both from the theoretical and practical respects. This article detailed the sound absorption principles and properties of several absorption structures in the Architectural Acoustics Design indicating that how to locate these absorption structures in the ceiling and walls to satisfy excellent sound quality, and detailed the measures of to be taken to reach the allowed noise value of the meeting room. Electro-acoustic design includes issues such as sound reinforcement equipment selection, layout of the hall and reasonable configuration of PA equipment. The problems in the construction process of multi-function meeting room were presented to take care, because acoustical design can not achieve the desired effect without high-quality construction.
