With the increasing use of unmanned surface vehicles,many countries have carried out a lot of research on the performance and function of unmanned surface vehicles,the boat type design(hydrodynamic performance analysis)and power system design for performance(rapidity,maneuverability,seakeeping,etc.)of the research focus,function module design focused on energy,control,collision avoidance,tracking,etc.The combination of performance design and function design of unmanned surface vehicles and the analysis of its comprehensive optimization design can improve the comprehensive performance of unmanned vehicle,which has become a new trend of unmanned surface vehicle design.In this paper,a multi-purpose HYSWATH unmanned vehicle is designed by combining the integrated performance and functional(visual system)design of the unmanned vehicle.It can be utilized to intelligent cruise,water quality,and hydrological information collection,and meteorological information collection.Among them,the optical function design system(single target Omni-directional stereo vision system)is optimized for the theoretical model,which can be mainly used for the surface target detection technology of unmanned craft.The specific research work and results are as follows:Firstly,the model selection of multi-purpose unmanned vehicle was analyzed according to the fuzzy mathematical ship type evaluation method,and the preliminary design analysis of unmanned vehicle was carried out after the ship type was selected,and the main scale design and general layout design of unmanned vehicle were completed.Secondly,the optimization mathematical model of multi-purpose unmanned vehicle's rapidity,maneuverability,seakeeping,and visual function system is established,and the comprehensive optimization objective function is constructed.Combining with the intelligent optimization algorithm,the optimal main scale and related parameters of hydrofoil composite small waterplane catenary unmanned vehicles with specific tonnage is obtained.According to the principal dimensions and parameters of the optimized combination type mother ship line,completed the small water-plane area twin hull no boat model design and production,the first boat body and water wings,and then finish the boat model of the propulsion system,design,and installation of the control system,and carrying a PAC(programmable automation controller)as control core of intelligent control system and the function module.Finally,the HYSWATH-USV model test was performed,including a water tightness test,rapidity test,maneuverability test,seakeeping test(roll test),monitoring system test,and semi-autonomous planned sea test.Based on the test results,relevant tests were analyzed to verify the reliability and stability of the multi-purpose unmanned surface vessel.
