Pipeline transport is one of the five major carriers in parallel with the railway, highway, aviation, and water transport,which is closely related to our daily lives, and plays an important role.In recent years, more and more serious man-made damage to pipes made the method to monitor pipeline sabotage be the urgent need in order to effectively reduce the waste of resources.This paper refered to a large number of the relevant literature, for the present situation of the real-time monitoring of pipeline sabotage domesticly and foreign, proposed the method to acoustic detection technology to monitor the pipeline sabotage, used the denoising method of wavelet analysis to make de-noising processing for the collected vibration signal, at the same time, this paper used the virtual instrument technology to build a set of monitoring system of pipeline damage and finally, carried out monitoring and positioning experimental study on the software platform.Specific work and the results are as follows:This paper developed monitoring system host computer software based on graphical programming environment---LabVIEW. Monitoring system host computer software that is upper management unit, is a terminal platform to achieve every function of the system, users can manage the hardware of the system and software resources by it, and complete the function of monitoring system targeting. The main contents including: a friendly man-machine interface, data acquisition and processing, network communications, data preprocessing, alarm positioning,and so on. The variable, multi-layered and self-help panel of LabVIEW as well as a powerful signal analysis and processing capabilities enhanced system flexibility and scalability.Finally, this paper conducted a laboratory simulation of pipeline for the monitoring system, by a large number of theoretical analysis and comparison test and the corresponding simulation results confirm that the system is feasible for pipeline leak detection and location.
