During the airdropped weight, paratroopers opening the parachute or landing, it will occur overload which would dure to the force of impact. Evaluation of overload is one of the important parameters of the parachute performances. Overload of the opening of parachute refers to the process of open inflation, in 1 second, the role of the impact of acceleration on the human body. Parachute and the landing impact is an instantaneous impact, if this impact is too large which over the physiological limits human can bear, it could damage human's tissues and organs, worse more it could cause death. The impact on people when he is grounding depends on the fall height, the height is higher, the speed will be more rapidly, the impact will be more strongly, and it could make more damage. Overload of the opening of parachute is one of the important parameters both in evaluating the performance of parachute and the tolerance of human. We must know the value of the size of overload when parachutist is opening the parachute or landing to prevent the impact of overload and damage on the body.This thesis designed a set of high precision, high speed, large capacity, low power consumption, and portable testing system for overload opening and landing of parachute, did real-time, accurate, comprehensive measurement to overload of parachute opening and landing, and simulated the process of parachute throw-in according to the actual data from testing, restored to the behavior of paratroopers in the air when throwing in under the parachute. It aimed at measuring the parachute training course in the human body by the impact force size, and their impact factors, expectations for the conduct of science in the parachute training, to prevent or reduce personnel injury. It provided reliable experimental data which can provide important performance evaluation of parachute reference, can apply some guidance for the parachute material selection and manufacturing processes.Overload testing device used to using the acceleration sensor as the overload measurement. Device adopted dual-single chip structure:used the AVR single chip ATmega8 as the subordinate single chip, responsible for data acquisition and processing of 3255 acceleration sensor. It converted the sensor output voltage value to acceleration value and sent the acceleration values through the serial port to the master processor; used ATmega128 as the principal single chip, responsible for storage of data collected by the subordinate single chip to SD card. After data acquisition transmitted them to computer as files via USB port. Then the computer analyzed the acceleration data through analyzing software of overload testing, and drew the overload curve, marked the overload value. According to the measured data for the whole process of the simulation we could observe the behavior of paratroopers in the air under the effect of parachutes conveniently, reduce the number of airdrop, save manpower, physical and financial resources.
