Quick-opening closure is a common pressure-bearing component in pressure vessel. Quick-opening closure is often opened with pressure or boosted without closing the door resulting in kinds of accident. Based on the features and similarities of typical quick-opening closures, we search the safe opening internal pressure region by the finite element software and experiment. By means of analysis and experiment, we submit some safety measures and suggestions for improvement.This paper introduced various structures of quick-opening closure, based on security requirements of opening closure, we find applicability of safety devices in opening process and the closure's impact analysis opened with pressure. In the process of opening the closure, we research split-ring LKT quick-opening closure used in domestic natural gas filters, and German KEMLOCK quick-opening closure. The relation between opening the closure required force and the instant internal pressure is obtained by finite element analysis. Also for flat-throw type vulcanize quick-opening closure used in industry, its safety opening pressure range based on the intensity stress analysis of clamp's contacting section is obtained. By analysis and comparison of above various results, calculation results and experiments are combined to evaluate structure security and optimize safety devices. What's more, impact of split-ring LKT quick-opening closure and teeth-locked type structure on the opening process have also been analyzed by the finite element dynamic software. The two structures represent flat heads and convex heads. Workbench software is used to figure out the impact momentum of the quick opening head to determine the safe internal pressure region that people can bear when opening the door under pressure.Besides, the structure optimization and design for the split-ring type LKT quick-opening closure is also performed in this article.
