In the vibration field of rotating machinery, vibration testing and control is the core topic in the theoretical research and engineering applications, and it has an important practical significance to study the vibration of rotating machinery in the engineering test field. In the active vibration control of rotating machinery process, the active control theory, electromagnetic control theory and PID control have important applications. Rotary spindle is one of the rotating machinery, in this paper, we use active control and electromagnetic control technologies; make the rotary spindle as the main studying object, then discuss the vibration testing and vibration control of the rotary spindle. In this paper, the main research is the vibration control of rotating spindle in rotating machinery.This paper contains three parts as follows:Firstly, this paper analyzes the status quo of the research and existing problems of the rotating machinery vibration study. From the view of the locale vibration diagnostics, the paper discusses the principle and classification methods of rotating machinery vibration, including the classification methods by the vibration law, the vibration causes and the vibration frequencies, expounds the passive control and the active control methods of the rotating machinery vibration.Secondly, the study is to build a platform for rotating machinery vibration testing and control system, and to design the hardware and software of the system platform. The hardware components include the rotor test-bed, sensors, the capture card, PC, control output cards, magnetic controller and so on. The paper is based on the LabVIEW programming software to complete the system programming interface and coding procedures. Taking the vibration of rotating spindle as the test object, the study finishes the debugging of the acquisition and testing software.Thirdly, according to the theories and strategies in the rotating machinery vibration control, the study makes the vibration of rotating spindle as the research object, using the power functions of LabVIEW software, and developing a rotary spindle vibration control software system in the LabVIEW. Then it uses the electromagnetic controller and PID control module to active the control of vibration of the rotary spindle. After the vibration control experiment and the analysis of the results, it verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of the system.Vibration testing and control system for rotating machinery is used for Hubei Province Natural Science Foundation project; it has good control effects for the spindle deflection. This system has practical significance in promoting the development of rotor fault diagnosis technology, also can control the harmful deflection of the rotor effectively and has a certain practical value to ensure the safe operation of the equipment. The system will be put into practice, and will have a very important practical value and engineering significance in the vibration active control.
