The simulation of a passenger Dynamics and the Analysis and Evaluation of its Handling Stability Test Data are researched in this paper,which are sticking points in studying the chassis matching and performance optimization projects. Main content of this article is as follows:1) The principle of parameterized dynamic model is Described,which is based on CarSim software;the system models including tire system, body, aerodynamics, steering system, braking system, power train system, suspension system are described based on some unique characteristics of passenger car. Finally, visualization of 3D virtual model is described, any arbitrary road environment can be generated easily by use of this road generator.2) MF-Tyre 6.11 in tyre-model was used. The results of the semi-empirical MF-Tyre 6.11 model parameter identification under pure and combined slip conditions via a set of passenger car 215/55R16 tire test dates are represented, using L-M Method of Optimization Algorithm provided by toolbox in Matlab. Meanwhile, the total variance and residual analysis of 83 parameters identification results are analyzed.3) Dynamic model of passenger car is developed based on CarSim and the principle of parameterized dynamic model.The identificating and testing of the parameters/performance curve of each system assembly are imported into simulation software. Then the dynamic model was calibrated and checked by comparing the analysis of the real vehicle's experimental data. It turned out that the dynamic model is good at simulation test of Low-speed condition, and the Simulation results of high-speed conditions are basically the same trend with the test results; meanwhile, the dynamic model can accurately describe the dynamic response of vehicle braking, the vehicle state of extreme operating conditions can be predicted.4) Real vehicle tests data of Handling and stability were processed by Matlab in order to stability rating, scoring and vehicle performance analysis. The simulation results show that:the controllability and stability of Global evaluation for the passenger car is 91.3941.This approach is a quantitative way of Handling and stability analysis.Research of this topic can be used for further chassis matching and performance optimization, evaluation of vehicle performance, as well as lays the foundation for improving security, vehicle handling and stability.
