It is the longer heating season and large amount of heating resources needed in LanZhou city that lead to the increasingly prominent contradiction between energy supply to local residents. Which is the most direct impact of building energy consumption is whether the building envelope is high quality or inferior. But the result by the thermal static calculation method is not exactly enouh,so it can't guide the development of building energy conservation correctly. Therefore, how to improve building envelope by calculation of the unsteady method and reduce energy consumption has become an urgent subject to be solved.Based on the residential building in lanzhou area as the research object, this thesis is adopted to analyze the consumption of residential buildings with different energy saving design under lanzhou climate condition with the unique unsteady thermal simulation software DeST-h for building energy consumption in our country.And put forward the index of thermal energy saving design of Lanzhou area suitable for construction with standard so as to provides valuable reference for old buildings and new buildings design in this area. The main contents are as follows:(1) Summarize the historical development of architectural construction theory and practice, and obtain the beneficial experience used for reference for energy saving design by comparing it.(2) Measure typical residential building hot consumption status in lanzhou with the help of energy simulation software DeST and find the weak links of residential thermal environment in Lanzhou by comparing and analyzing the difference between the result of simulation and analysis and energy-saving standard thermal environment.(3) Through three steps of the simulation model establishment, the energy conservation and the energy-saving optimized design,conduct an energy-saving analysis of building envelope, based on the weak links of building envelop in LanZhou city And then compare and analysis the best heat preservation of the outside, the window, and the roof in lanzhou climate conditions.(4) Optimize and integrate various energy saving measures and then conduct a simulation analysis of integration and last summarize the best plan about outside palisade structure system in Lanzhou with the help of results of simulation analysis.
