Distribution network is an important part of power system. Under conditions of meeting radial load network, distribution network reconfiguration is to change the combination of state-switch in order to achieve lower loss, eliminate overload, improve system reliability and power quality and economic benefits.Starting from the core algorithm, the article discussed the distribution network reconfiguration under different objective functions.First of all, after analyzing a large number of algorithms used for distribution network reconstruction, ant colony clonal genetic algorithm (ACCGA), which fuses ant colony algorithm (ACA) and clonal genetic algorithm (CGA), is established. The algorithm can compensate for the shortcomings of the two single algorithms, also develop the global of clonal genetic algorithm and the positive feedback of ant colony algorithm,so it can effectively control the direction of genetic evolution.Second, ant colony clonal genetic algorithm is applied to distribution network reconfiguration with a view to reducing the loss.According to the characteristics of distribution network and the algorithm, we simplify the tree topology of distribution network and flow calculation methods, optimize the encoding, the initial population, genetic operators, the initial pheromone, pheromone update etc.IEEE33 and IEEE69 cases are respectively used to verify the algorithm feasible.Third, the article analyzes the reliability, assessment indices and calculation of distribution network. Distribution network is reconstructed to improve the system reliability, using the system average interruption frequency(SAIFI) and system average interruption duration(SAIDI) as its comprehensive goal.The RTS-BUS2 and BUS4 is as the example to further prove that ant colony clonal genetic algorithm is effective in distribution network reconfiguration.At last, a experimental device for distribution network reconfiguration is designed, through which we respectively realized the reconfiguration based on above two objective functions.
