The main work of this thesis is to build the development platform automatic measurement system and control the vector network analyzer (VNA) for measurement. At the same time, as the VNA don't have the On-Wafer Calibration Measurement, we also develop the TRL calibration items for On-Wafer Calibration Measurement for this VNA, expand its measuring function. This thesis has the following:First, the thesis is describes the development of modern microwave measurement and development tools and programming language that used in interface technology which used in the thesis.Chapterâ…¢has constructed the measurement software platform; achieve a graphical control of the VNA. The control of the VNA consists of connection, calibration, measurement, graphics parts. The graphics part has using a mixing program.Chapterâ…£achieves On-Wafer Calibration Measurement for the VNA through study the principle of the TRL calibration and simulation the TRL calibration items. It introduce how to design the TRL calibration items and the requirements of the design, how to create a new cal kit on the VNA using the TRL calibration items parameter. We comparison the results of the measurement by SOLT calibration and TRL calibration, using home-made components.Finally, it is the measurement software test. The results are good.
