Following with the rapid development of medical technology and society, modern medical mode begins to transfer from single one to multiple one; social health care system returns from the"market"to the"commonwealth"; digital and informational technologies graduately equipment in the health care system. The changes above inevitably lead the methods and concepts of healthcare building design to change and innovation. The author chooses out-patient department of general hospital as the researching object which is type of building populated concentrating. Therefore, the research of the out-patient department of general hospital has typical and special meaning to healthcare architecture.Systematically investigating into the out-patient department of large-scale hospital in the downtown, the thesis studies and establishes the theory which is in the processing of the reformation of social healthcare system, the development of science and technology, the change of medical pattern, renovation of healthcare architectural design and method which is based on building life cycle design. The scope and main content of the thesis not only contain influencing factors including on the information technology and urbanization, aging population, advancing medical science, but also expand into the evolvement and innovation of flexible design, intelligent system design, digital space design, complex medical function design.The thesis researches and analyzes the appropriate strategy of out-patient department architecture design based on the theory of building life cycle design, and generalizes a relatively reasonable and fixed design method.
