Investigation Of Public Architectural Features In The City Of Dalian

Exploring of the urban characteristics:with the economic recovery after Word WarⅠin Europe, for lacking of spiritual care, modern architecture went to the net side, CIAM (International Association of Modern Architecture) due to internal conflicts, the dissolution came in 1959; Then,the various doctrine out of different angles of their respective fields, by the city building Express the concerns on the natural and cultural. This article, in this background, proposed the " Investigation of Public Architectural features In The City of DaLian——Base on SD Method."Base on public evaluation of contemporary public buildings, through collection of subjective evaluation, combined with Critical Regionalism, Author tries to summarize contemporary public architectural features in Dalian and Propose design exploration.ChapterⅡ:first Author made a sort of urban background, mainly give the research analysis of the construction of Dalian City, the unique colonial history (1898-1945,the city has been occupied by Russia and Japanese colonialists, from fishing village, planning and construction); and hilly coastal natural geographical. base On this, as reference,Author also Generalizes the domestic and foreign-related theory and practice.ChapterⅢ:the author draws on "city image", a book, Kevin·Lynch, through non-professional public image of research, offers professional advice to research methods. The author through three stages of research, questionnaires, and subjective evaluation of public order, and through the SD method, collects non-professional people's description.as reference.ChapterⅣ: Frome the six typical cases. I compare people's subjective evaluation with architects's thinking, and construction status, from three angles:macro-architecture and cities. construction with the sites and Architecture detail.ChapterⅤ: Base on the third and fourth sections, combined with Critical Regionalism. from the two directions of the natural environment and, colonia history culture I try to propose Architecture design proposals.The ultimate purpose of this paper is to collect public subjective evaluation views on the Urban construction by the general public survey, and provide a reference for professional designers.
