Analysis On Veranda--Design And Research Of Veranda In Modern Architectural Context

With the development of social economy and the improvement of people's living, the quality of architectural space and details receives increasing attention from architects, research of architectural space elements becomes more meaningful. The veranda is used as the research topic in this thesis, from analyzing on theoretical and practical issues related, we get reference for high-quality space.As the traditional architectural space element, veranda is still used in modern architectures for its various functions, and has been given new forms and applications. From deep analyzing on the concepts, properties, applications and space design of veranda, this thesis summaries design methods of veranda which is adapted to modern development, and uses it to guide design to get better usage of space elements. At the same time, this thesis aims to get a solution which is helpful to inspiring design works on the level of methodology. This solution can also give referential method to future theoretical research and support rational design.
