The development of vocational education in the new era is not only facing the reality of demand and scale expansion,but also accompanied by the transformation of educational models with the integration of theory and practice as the core.Correspondingly,the design of teaching and practical training spaces in vocational colleges needs to provide support for the teaching demand on the integration of theory and practice on the one hand,and on the other hand,it’s also necessary to make effective respond to the issues of intensive construction caused by the contradiction between the shortage of urban construction land and the college’s expansion.The thesis establishes the connection between the demand for a education model educational models with the integration of theory and practice and the complex teaching and training space by combining the method of current situation visits with literature analysis,so as to summarize the composite design strategies for the comprehensive training space in vocational colleges through going deep into the research and analysis on typical cases.Finally,the design practice of the comprehensive training building in Weifang Vocational School is carried out for the empirical study.This thesis is divided into 6 chapters as follows:The first chapter is to introduce the research background and relevant research trends.Chapter 2 is to work out the main factors affecting the composite design of comprehensive training space by starting with the spatial demands for the teaching mode with the integration of theory and practice,based on the diachronic analysis for the evolution of teaching and training space layout in vocational colleges.Chapter 3 is to conclude the four key spatial characteristics,including the diversification of spatial function,richness of spatial levels,diversity of spatial behaviors,and flexibility of spatial use,in combination with the visits and survey of teaching and training spaces in four vocational colleges,as well as the study and analysis on typical cases.Chapter 4 is to expound the basic strategies for the composite design of comprehensive training space from three aspects including the compound of theoretical teaching space and practical teaching space,the compound of teaching space and auxiliary space,and the compound of teaching space and public space.Chapter 5 is to conduct empirical research on relevant composite design strategies through the design practice of the comprehensive training building of Weifang Vocational School.Chapter 6 is to make a further summary on the previous research conclusions,and point out the deficiencies in the research and prospects for future research.Based on the practical demand for the transformation of the teaching mode with the integration of theory and practice,this thesis is intended to conduct systematical and in-depth exploration on the composite design strategy of the comprehensive training building space in vocational colleges,which is of high realistic significance and practical value in improving the applicability and economy of the teaching and training space design in vocational colleges.
