Commercial vehicles in China have developed rapidly since the 21st century, and the request on the vehicle's ride comfort has gradually increased in addition to power, economy, handing stability, etc. Improving the commercial vehicle cab mounting system is an effective way to improve vehicle's ride, so it's significant to study on the commercial vehicle cab mounting system. In this paper, choose front and rear cab air mounting on the basis of studying cab air mounting and air spring. The paper used modern computer simulation technology, which combined finite element method and dynamic simulation method. It provided modern method at an earlier stage of designing commercial vehicle cab air mounting.Elastic property of air spring is one of the most important factors affecting vehicle's ride. But it is difficult to converge and complex to compute because of non-linearity of material, geometry and contact of air spring, so Msc.Marc soft on FEA, which is professional to solve the non-linearity problem, is used for compute air spring's stiffness. FEA shows the result on the load vs. displacement and analyses that load and stiffness is influenced by the inner-pressure in the performance characteristics of deformed shape. And then, choose the appropriate air spring for the vehicle cab mounting based on load at different load conditions and special conditions according to result. The virtual prototype was established based on the basic data of certain commercial vehicle integrating with the knowledge of auto theory and elastic property of air spring through analysis. The prototype contained frame, suspensions, steering system, power train, cab and cab mounting, tires and road. According to the demands of the current national standards on the ride comfort, consider random road as system input, and weighted RMS acceleration as the criteria. Finally the conclusion verified that cab air mounting chosen could improve vehicles'ride.
