As our country highway developed rapidly, the expressway network stretches deeply into the mountain area. It becomes inevitable to excavate the mountains along the mainline for the complicated conditions and difficulties in designations and few alternatives. In excavating the mountains in the embankment construction, large bare rocks or debris slope are formed. In order to remedy the damage to mountain ecological environment, all levels of leadership and engineering staff are paying increasing attention to ecological restoration and management. However, after the excavation of the mountain, slope is formed with poor soil adhesion and vulnerable conditions to water damage during the rainy season etc., hence negative impact is enforced on the plants, which leads cut slope ecological protection as the top difficulty and priority in ecological restoration of highway.Based on the classification of the type of slope erosion protection mechanism and the soil features of the mountain highway Slope, the article produces a theoretical study on slope erosion mechanism, and the growth and succession of secondary vegetation in various engineering community and different types of rock slope. From the theories of Ecological Protection Engineering Technology of Cut Slope both inside and outside China, the paper makes comparison on Slope test sections with different features, and by cost analysis the best vegetation protection program for all Blue Mountains Business Line Slope of is selected for later application. To update the design of slope protection for engineers and technicians, improve the existing design of the protection and to better guide on how to use the right plant to control slope erosion in projects, to ensure the highway slope stability, and to reduce soil erosion damage to the environment, and to reach a coordination of Ecology to the surrounding environment.
