The Study Of Urban Landscape Color Planning

Colors in our life has played an important role. Beautiful color of natural environment is the most precious wealth for us, and the urban landscape as human's life and work place is revealing human creativity and aesthetic attainment, it is human wisdom. The various factors of the urban environment, the city's theme colour is the first vision for a city as the important pact of creating a harmonious city, managing the city's image, managing the urban individual character, and improve the city's competitiveness. For example, London's khaki, Dalian's beige and Beijing's complex gray. The urban function is complex, and it's colorful, so it need to construct characteristic by the theme colour.Since the reform and opening, Taiyuan started large-scale construction especially in recent years. The urbanization, road and urban construction of Taiyuan are rapid development. But in this process, especially in urban renewal, a large number of old blocks and houses were destroyed, historical and cultural city and characteristics of the original habitats disappeared, people found the taiyuan memorable points were losing, office buildings, residential buildings and historical cultural landscape architecture exterior colour follow one's inclinations, different colors caused visual chaos just as red, blue, bright yellow and white."No ugly color, only not beautiful combination". The same is true for the urban landscape, color is the intuitive way.This paper conducts a preliminary design of the Taiyuan city's center theme color, it is also a Shanxi provincial research project which take charge by my supervisor ZhaoQing professor. First this paper takes the field survey and analysis about the factors of Taiyuan city's center color, combined the natural landscape, humanistic landscape characteristic color, history, color of the buildings, the function of the urban landscape and the planning in Taiyuan, using the work method s of the color experts and institutions, we analyses and screen out the colors from the current situation which caused the urban pollution by using the theories of the geography and the color psychology, and reserves the relatively reasonable colors. Eventually this paper design the Taiyuan city's center color planning for the research and the construction of city.
