The study object of this paper is plate brush which is the main component of feed mill sweeper. This paper identifies the main factors to affect the cleaning efficiency and cleaning performance: sweeping speed, plate brush speed, and the materials quantity through analyzing the domestic and abroad cleaning machine's application and the present status and the influence of sweeping machine plate brush access locations speed. Then study and explore the factors'influence law to cleaning efficiency and cleaning ability by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment.The main factors and influence law which affect the cleaning efficiency and cleaning ability are found through analyzing and processing the single factor experiment data. The primary and secondary order of the factors affecting cleaning efficiency is found through the range analysis of orthogonal experiment data. And the significant level of the various factors affecting cleaning efficiency is found through the variance analysis of orthogonal experiment data.According to the analysis of cleaning device structure, the main components'three-dimensional models, assembly, and interference checking are achieved by Autodesk Inventor. And Simulate the plate brush device's lifting and cleaning movement. Finally, simulate the plate brush beam's trajectory at different cleaning speeds and different plate brush speed by setting the drive conditions. The simulation results basically verify the experiment results.
