After the fire mission, the firefighter have to cleaning the fire hose. It can cause the problems such as heavy workload, low efficiency, and waste water. Therefore, in order to reduce firefighters' working pressure, hazards cause by continuous working on fire suppression and the preparation period of fire equipment, and by considering the overprice of the foreign cleaning device and not fit the reality situation, I propose that design a set of long fire hose washing device system.This paper proposes the long fire hose cleaning device design scheme. Because the long fire hose is carried by a small car, the cleaning job flexibility. In addition, the design of locking device using on cleaning long fire hose has shown in the paper. The principle of the locking means is an eccentric locking principle. The power of cleaning device is driven by a torque motor and a servo motor. The torque motor provide power for winding and unwinding of the long fire hose and the servo motor supply the power to driving the brush rotating. The PLC and touch screen are used as control and display device. PLC undertake the logical timing control of cleaning device and the touch screen is to set cleaning parameters and monitor the status of the cleaning. After the design completed, the PLC and touch screen was programmed and tested, and the whole control system was debugged as well.Another part of the paper is focused on designing, researching and experimenting of the hose's surface cleaning technology, cleaning process and cleaning parameters. Cleaning process uses the energy-efficient high-pressure water jet cleaning technology. Considering the dirt in the long hose being difficult to cleaning, paper proposed pressure water jet cleaning and brush cleaning combination. The cleaning process is divided into three parts. Firstly, the pre-cleaning stage by high-pressure water jet; Secondly, the brush cleaning stage; Lastly, the high-pressure water jet cleaning. The experimenting aim to determine the best cleaning parameter, such as the water pressure, the nozzle's spray angle and nozzle diameter, the rotational speed and the push amount of brush. It all work together to finish the cleaning work efficiency.
