In a escalator, the step is the largest number of components.Due to the large number of steps, but also regular exercise components, so the quality of one escalator step depends largely on the structure and quality. CAE technology is an important tool has become a mechanical product development, through the finite element analysis, strength requirements can be guaranteed and to reduce the number of experiments, and to gain the trust of consumers.ANSYS is one of the most common finite element analysis software in the world. It has powerful finite element analysis functions and is applied in structure analysis widely. Moreover, it has good openness and second development functions such as APDL, UIDLand UPFs.This paper is based on set Suzhou Jiangnan Jia Jie Elevator Co., Ltd. for the study target, from the following aspects of the step:First of all, introduced the steps of the classification, structure and size, analyzed the various sections of the load cases on the steps during operation, established the steps'mechanical model in the work section, and described the vibration source and comfort the step impact on.Secondly, it develops the initial parametric finite element analysis system of a step. Using the parametric programming language APDL, introducing parametric variables, the judge and circulation flow control command, detailing description of steps parameter module development process. First establish a template of the process, and then order the corresponding log files, to achieve the escalator steps of the system parameters of the module. Then, using ANSYS user interface design language UIDL, can develop a simple user interface. The characteristics of this task are simple to enter the parameters. This article set steps as an example, illustrating UIDL control file by ANSYS, and editing the menu control file and dialog control file, implementation the system's interface module design. The user just need to input through the user interface can be generated automatically change the parameters of the finite element analysis of the ANSYS input file when changes the parameters in the model. Finally, run this analysis system can get the finite element analysis of experimental results in static and dynamic. The system can prevent a large number of repeated operations, improve the analysis efficiency. And the input interface is simple; non-professionals can also use the system to do the step analysis. This paper hold up development finite element analysis system of step parametric, the analysis results has some significance on the design and manufacture of the steps.
