Earth dam has many advantages such as good adaptabilitys to the topography, geology, climate, eaqrthquake and also simple and practical , so it is widely used in water conservancy projects. The accidents that caused by earth dam seepage is very frequently, therefore how to ensure seepage security has great practical significance in earth dam engineering project. Due to the high failure risk of the seepage anisotropy field on earth dam , researches played more and more attention on the study of the seepage anisotropy field. In this paper, based on numerical simulation and theoretical analysis, the earth dam seepage with anisotropic dam body and the four drainage scheme has been preliminaryly studied. The major work of the thesis are as follows:1.By refer to extensive literature, understand the current seepage and drainage problems and the research status. Mastery of knowledge the basic principles of seepage and seepage calculate with finite element, preparation the two-dimensional finite element stability seepage program, and verify the reliability.2.Base on calculate of the anisotropic earth dam seepage that without drainage ,get the results that this earth dam has high saturation line position and as the dam kx/kz increaseing the line will further increase .The conclusion demonstrates the anisotropy earth dam that provision drainage was very important.3.By calculating dam seepage when the dam kx/kz is equal to 1,3,5,10,15, with the four different drainage bodies, These results that the the saturation line, seepage and seepage slope etc.were analyzed, That anisotropy earth dam, the drainage effect of drainage schemes and dam kx/kz value was closely related.Dam design and dangerous earth dam reinforcement, set the drainage should fully consider the dam kx/kz values.4. This paper has calculated three seepage condition on section No. 0 +800 at 90.0m, 91.5m, 93.2m water level in the Huangshi Reservoir main dam. For the main dam downstream of the secondary platform appears at the left side three points of concentrated water seepage, seepage through the analysis of this paper that the wetting line is high (and higher permeability layer of weathered material too close), it may lead to in the dam kx/kz value is too large department seepage escaping from the slope. Therefore, the paper design on the existing body of additional vertical drainage water body, through seepage calculation, that can better reduce the saturation line so as to meet engineering requirements.
