The research of mechanical seal technology has been the one of our country key topics. The research to mechanical seal involves structural mechanics, contact theory, tribology theory, fluid lubrication theory, heat transfer theory, etc. Some aspects of the present research to mechanical seal at home and abroad is not in-depth, such as mechanical deformation, thermal deformation, transient characteristic of heat transfer, the film shearing heat, and so on, and the research of dynamic properties to the mechanical seal ring is less. For changes of external factors or changes of conditions in itself, the vibration of mechanical seal rings will happen. The result of vibration will increased wear and tear or leakage on seal face, and makes even the seal system was destroyed. The leakage and servicing life is the evaluating indexs of mechanical seal system performance. Base of Significant impact of vibration to mechanical Seal, the reseach to vibration of the mechanical seal ring is especially critical.1) Analyzed to the basic composition of the mechanical seal system and the force of floating seal ring; and initial obtained the calculation equation of film pressure, contact pressure and flow rate on the seal face.2) By analysis of the motion of seal ring, established motion model; under base of reseach to axial vibration of the seal ring, consider the rotating and swing of seal ring, established motion model of the coupling vibration. By programming to coupling vibration equations, obtained the distribution of film thickness, film pressure and contact pressure on seal ring face on a momen, and obtained changes of film pressure by time on location of seal ring face different radius; and last, obtained the effects of coupling vibration to the leakage.3) According to the coupling vibration equations of seal ring, analysed to the impact of the spring stiffness, face angle, innerand outer diameter pressure to sealing performance and system life; when spring stiffness were taken four different values, by programming, obtaied the changes of displacement and velocity of seal ring, film pressure, contact pressure, leakage by time, and analyzed the impact to sealing performance for the changes of spring stiffness. Using the same method, when the face angle, the pressure of innerand outer radius position were taken different values, analyzed the impact to seal ring vibration and sealing properties. Finally, analyzed the stability of this mechanical seal system.
