The Landscape Design Of Outdoor Residential Based On Ecological Principles

Settlements outside the urban environment is not only an important part of ecosystems, also related to the standard of life quality.With the increaseing awareness of human ecology and the rapid development of ecology, people's requirements of settlements is not merely on the green level of conventional design, but has gradually risen to the level of ecological design. At the present, there are still many shortcomings of our outdoor environment building and ecological environment construction should be improved, so the design theory of ecological environment of outdoor settlements has practical significance. Based on this, this paper is aimed at studying ecological design by using methods of applicating literature, field studies and induction analysis, to research the theroy and methods of constructing settlements in the outdoor ecological environment systematically.First, this paper expounds the background, purpose, meaning, method, content and framework of the study. On the basis of reasearching theroys as well as practices of foreign settlements studies related to environmental and ecological design, the writer tries to summarize the achievements and developping trends of outdoor environmental design theory.Secondly, with the purpose of investigating the theroy of environmental settlement outside and ecological designs through the ecological angle, the writer studies from the aspect of outdoor environmental settlements and the aspect of the ecological design theory. The paper especially extracts the knowledge of ecological factors and summarizes the status and problems exisiting in present outdoor environmental design.Finally, the paper put forward three concepts which provide a theoretical basis for the content of outdoor ecological design from the influencential elements of ecological design in accordance with scientific procedures and eco-design principles. This article focuses on selected settlements in the six dominant ecological factors of outdoor environment (soil environment, green environment, water environment, natural energy, road environment and waste environment). The paper also does detailed in-depth ecological design analysis and research to improve the settlement's self-sustaining and self-renewal capacity to create a harmonious co-existence of man and nature in the ecological living environment. Taking Beiluchun green residential district of Beijing as a proof case, the writer shows the practical value of this paper.In this paper, soil, water, green, energy, road transport, waste etscetera are proposed as the dominant ecological factors and the principal contradiction. So those are the main subsistances that the ecologial design should be solved. The paper directs at these six factors in this specific eco-design study to submit their targeted design and create ecological environmental settlements, and to achieve the sustainable development of human settlements ultimately.
