The Study Of Outdoor Space In Urban Residence In Small And Middle Scale Landscape Ecology Design

As the basic unite of the city, urban residential area is an important place for resident's daily life, entertainment and inhabitation. Stressed the natural character and ecological character of the urban residential area plays very important role in improving the relationship between human and nature at city level, forming urban organic ecological unit and meeting the feelings of residents who live in the area.This paper start with urban residential environment in our modern country, regarding the environment outside of the residential area as the research object,and the paper introduces the method of ecological design into the medium and small scale outside room design. Based on a large amount of foreign and domestic relevant reference, through summarizing the definition, location, principle and design methods of ecological design by many scholars, this paper gives the example of environment outside of city residential area at home and abroad, with the purpose of providing much more useful advices for further researchers.This paper focuses on hot issues of society and discusses people's cognitions and practices about the medium and small scale outside room design. The paper firstly tries to talk about some concepts which include the urban residential area, scale, ecological design and so on. Bases on the discussion of the theoretical basis and principle of the ecological design of environment outside of the city residential area, the paper analyzes and talks about reasons and development of those issues and gives the concrete design strategies. At the same time, through draw on the experiences of practices in construction, the paper tries to show how to practice the ecological design of environment outside of the city residential area.
