To improve efficiency of the stream turbine, stream turbine blades are usually designed to distortedly variable cross-section surface, its shape is complex. Thus, precise geometric modeling of the steam turbine blade has become very important to processing. The paper research on mathematical modeling and interpolation algorithm for stream turbine blade, according to the data of the stream turbine blade, the thesis uses the reverse-technique, which bases on the reverse-calculation of NURBS curves and surfaces, establishing the mathematical model of the steam turbine blade. The results of fitting error analysis show that the mathematical model is accurate. For the requirements of high-speed and high accuracy CNC machining, establishing a group of NURBS curves based on mathematical models, using the MATLAB for simulation, verifying the flexibility of CNC machining for blade by using different interpolation methods.
