The World Health Organization estimated that there are about 600,000,000 people contract each type of disability in the whole world. They have the enormous demand to the health recovery. In 2006 the second national disabled person sample investigation, We discovered that our country disabled people account 6.34% for the national total population, and the proportion of the body disabled person obviously rise, therefore, the demands of disability auxiliary instrument also gradually rises, such as wheelchair and walking stick. At present there are two big problems in the wheelchair market, First, the domestic wheelchair development is slow, many domestic manufacturer have not value the disabled people, the majority of wheelchairs are from the overseas and the price are expensive, so the poor disabled people may not pay for it. Second, the manual wheelchair designs looks like each other, a lot of wheelchair for the body disabled person's is same, and it only plays a role as instead of walking tool, it is not helpful in body recovery of disabled people. This article research the psychological demand of disabled people, and in order to satisfy disabled people deeper recovery demand, I carry on the innovative design to the existing manual wheelchair.First, the paper analyzed the existing manual wheelchair, researched wheelchair's type as well as major component's structure and function, then according to the size of normal human body corresponding spot, I calculated major component's size of wheelchair, which provides the size basis in the design of wheelchair.In order to satisfy disabled people's demand of material and spirit, the paper has elaborated the humanities concern factor, and researched the concrete application of humanities concern factor in the disabled people product, and carried on the analysis of user-friendly factor to the function, the shape, the material, the color, provides the basis for the user-friendly design in new wheelchair.Then this article unions specialized knowledge such as man-machine engineering and the mechanical foundation and so on; and mainly introduced design method of the new wheelchair from structure, modeling, and color and so on, mentioned simply the armpit stick's design main point, and elaborated the design method of wheelchair's partial components t in detail.Finally it solved the proposed question before one by one, and has designed the new style wheelchair for three, four level of body disabled person.
