With the continuous development of the domestic economy in recent years, especially in the mid-90s,the aggregate demands that to improve the urban environment, to provide urban public spaces for citizens, to protect and display the city's history and culture, to increase the city's characteristics and so caused widespread concern in society, more and more cities opened commercial pedestrian streets, casual streets, plazas, public green spaces and other public spaces, and the urban planning profession and the construction industry increasingly attached much importance to the design of urban public environments. These sites not only provided people with a communion place. But also this public open space of the building is widely considered to be the most effective way to improve the urban environment rapidly in the short term.,thus it became the continuing hotspot of the government Image Projects in recent years. As an important factor of the urban public space and an important indicator of urban development, the City commercial pedestrian street attracted more and more attention by the government and citizens, and it has become an indispensable part of modern urban life. The ultimate goal of a city Commercial pedestrian street is to reflect a good moral sense and mental outlook, thus enhancing people's quality, taste, and finally reflects the integration of the people, space and environment as well as people-oriented.But at present many design of our commercial walking street was blamed for the lack of features, stereotyped, and often based on damage to the original pattern of regional cultural characteristics. And many designs are lack of humanity, have not fundamentally take the person's dominant position into account, there is no man's behavior and psychological needs as the primary criterion for the design, resulting in a truly user-friendly pedestrian street is not a human face. Rational planning and organizing the design of a city commercial pedestrian street became a premise to the city's healthy and orderly development. The design of modern city Commercial pedestrian street is not just to follow the form of simple, especially for some medium and small cities, they can not ignore their own environment and context and blindly follow the city's pedestrian street construction, and should proceed from its own conditions, from the user's physical and careful study of the psychological needs of departure before they could make a good design, and they can lead to a greater benefits of urban social, economic and environmental.Introduction part of the first chapter, the main topics introduced the research background, research content, research significance, research methodology, etc.;second chapter describes the development overview and the status quo analysis of the city commercial pedestrian street. The third chapter describes the concept of human nature and constraints analysis of the design of city commercial walking street, including the content of user-friendly design, behavior patterns and psychological needs analysis of people in the urban commercial street. Chapter Four is the core of the full text, it's the part of design and study, commercial walking street from the city space form of the human design, the shape characteristics of the space environment, landscape facilities, user-friendly design and function of human use of space in terms of design commercial walking street systematic research design to find these laws, to explore its design method. Chapter Five is the case study part, take Quanlefang in Jinan City for example, to study its humanized design, to get specific design methods from practice. Chapter Six makes summary and outlook based on the content and results of previous studies.
