Quantitative Analysis Of Plant Layout In Space

Plant space has been researched through the classification and integration of two methods in Dongjiao Statehouse Hotel.The five space forms have been studied with the classification method and quantitative, which include the sparse plant lawn space, combined space with plants and construction, combined space of plants and water, and the one of plant and road. The common conclusions are as followings:From the spatial scale, in the five spaces, the small one meet 23 to 35 meters, a large space is not more than three times of it, that is 69 to 105m.From the view of visual, the level visual angle of viewing surface of those five types of space should not exceed 60°.The different conclusions can be made as followings:The formation of lawn space for plants, in small scale (23 to 35 meters), the ratio of the deciduous and evergreen trees is 1:3 or less; in large-scale (meet the 69 ~ 105 meters),leaves on the trees and Evergreen meets or is less than the ratio of 1:3.The combined space with plants and construction, if as public buildings, the ratio of green area of rounding island and building area is not greater than 1:10; Doing the layout of subsidiary green area beside building in small space, in order to expand the view of perception the more design applications can be used, such as passing though scenery, leaking through scenery and borrowed scenery.In the formation of plants and water space, the fifth-dimensional element of the air field must be considered.In the formation of plant and road space, the line of sight crossing scenery can be designed at the bend or end of the road. The distance between the focus should not be more than 100 meters. If more than 100 meters, the road can be designed deviously to transfer the sight. The transformation base of the plants layout on both sides of the road can be in 23 ~ 35m.The use of feng shui concept can form the plant space organically in the integration landscape.
