Recently high-speed centrifugal atomizer equipments have been widely used in vehicle manufacturing, and it is generally composed of a turbo-driving system and a paint atomizer. Magnetic bearing is a key component of the turbo-driving system, and it should have the characteristics of high speed, high dynamic stability, long life and high reliability. Considering the actual working conditions and existing technical problems in domestic automobile part coating process, this dissertation studies the structural design theories and dynamic characteristics of hybrid magnetic bearings consisting of the floating thrust bearings and magnetic bearings used in high-speed magnetic hybrid centrifugal spray turbine. The following achievements have been made.1. In order to give full play to the efficacy of permanent magnetic material, the effects of the magnetic loop height, cross-sectional size and volume on the bearing stiffness were studied, and the cross-section shapes of permanent magnet bearings were designed.2. The mechanical models of radial magnetic bearings were established, and the structural characteristics of the double-loop radial permanent magnetic bearings with axial, different polarity layout were analyzed. And then the calculation expressions of their radial and axial bearing capacity were deduced. Through the double-ring magnetic bearings magnetic circuit analysis, the causes of magnetic bearing radial force of the turbine were discussed and the carrying capacity and stiffness were derived.3. By simulations of the carrying capacity of the spraying turbine, the axial operating point the of the spraying gas turbine hybrid magnetic bearing was identified.4. A bearing base was designed and manufactured, and the processing problems and solutions were discussed. Through the design of magnetic bearing radial magnetic force experiments, the rationality of mechanical models and correctness of simulation results were verified.5. The relationship between the air bearing displacement and stiffness was verified.
