Research And Design Of Computerized Numerical Control Auto-sorting Cylindrical Helical Spring Separator

The clutch spring of autocycle is one of which need full inspection mandated by the relevant national departments. Its quality is directly related to automobile and motorcycle's driving performance, Since the rapid development of the industrialization process, the solution for clutch spring automated sorting has become increasingly significant. This project is following the slogan for building the city of Auto Industry of Chongqing, associated with the premise of both cylindrical coil spring demand and production demand in Chongqing, and is aiming to develop a high level of automation, safe, reliable, cost-effective CNC automatic coil spring separator. This paper is mainly about the research, design, experiment, and manufacturing of the structure and electrical control system of sorter mechanical.The spring sorting machine is installed in the spring process of the testing process workshop section online,and designed for various types of clutch spring sorting of Chongqing clutch spring manufacturing process .Firstly, the paper introduces the sorting principle, current situation of foreign and domestic spring sorting machine and the advantages and disadvantages of equipment . Then it proposes the main research contents. This paper gives an overall plan about the sorter mechanical structure and the electrical control, based on the analysis of the spring characteristics and control requirements. In this paper, there is a design about spring separator's mechanical structure and control system respectively. In the mechanical part, a double-double-push into the fixed-position mode with the rotating barrel drop sorting method is adopted innovatively, while the control system uses the host monitoring and control of modular sub-control mode. The host key to realize stepper motor, data acquisition cards, all kinds of solenoid valve switches, detection and control, and to meet the sorting process monitoring and data display requirements, stepper motor driver module mainly for stepper motor direction, acceleration and deceleration, and stop control, etc. In order to implement the normal operation of the sorting structure, data acquisition card key completes the electrical data, sensor data, and electromagnetic valve switches the state of data collection, and return to the host for analysis and operations.Using object-oriented programming language Visual Basic 6.0 to conduct software development and using MSComm control as the serial communication control to achieve the host and the communication between the various control modules and data processing, Combined with Microsoft office products combine to achieve real-time data and historical data storage , as well as the testing reports the design, preview and printing.The electrical control system of the CNC automatic coil spring separator studied and designed in this paper has satisfied the function requests and solved the actual problems during the building of Chongqing coil spring separator. It also gives references to the design of such kind of device.
