Study On The Urban Expressway Transit Network Planning Theory

In recent years, under the propulsion of economy acceleration, our country is entering "the rapidly urbanization" stage. With the development of city, many city problems explode, including large flatbread development pattern, traffic jam, environment deterioration. Urban Expressway will be beneficial to allay these problems. Now many cities are driving development urban Expressway transit, but there is absent of theory and method of urban Expressway transit network planning. Under this background, author chose urban Expressway transit network planning theory as the theme. this paper did some helpful work for urban Expressway transit network planning by using systems analysis method.After analysis on production mechanism of benefits from urban Expressway transit, this paper analyzed the necessity and urgency of building urban Expressway transit in China city. urban Expressway transit network scale is a variable having target character, which is a macro-control of urban Expressway transit network. After analyzed the methods which was used to compute rapid rail transit network scale at present, this paper put forward one models which was based on traffic demand overflow. On the basis of analyzing the domestic and foreign urban expressway system development research, summarized the domestic and foreign urban expressway network planning experience. This paper proposed a series of expressway transportation wire plan principle.on the basis of studying the present domestic and foreign expressway network planning method, applied "Point, Line and Multi-level Analysis Module" to divide into the road network plan "the spot" "the line""the surface" three levels to carry on the analysis, obtained the road network preelection plan. at last the method is used in the Expressway transit network planning of Xi'an city which is regarded as an example analysis, on one the hand lies in analyzing the necessity and urgency of the theory, on the other hand promotes the fundamental research of network planning further thorough.
