Urban Expressway Network Planning Methods And Applied Research

Urban expressway is the highest level of road of urban network, which offers services of expressways of middle and long distance, and is the aortic in urban traffic. The construction of the urban expressway network means the improvement of the development level of the city. It is an important procedure of the urban expressways priorities of development and also completes the multilevel urban road network. Up till now, big cities in domestic are constructing and improving the urban expressway actively. But during the planning of the expressway network, it still showed the lack of method and theory, and can’t come out with a complete tutoring suggestion of the urban expressway, which lead to the irrational process of the network, the incomplete of the traffic organization, and the inharmonious between construction and process. This thesis brought a way of evaluate the construction of proper scale of the urban expressway network inthird-tier cities in domestic by combining the process of the construction, processing and researching the express way of Tai zhou city.First, the thesis introduced the effect and mechanization that expressway network to the development of the city’s traffic, and analyzed the necessity of our country to introduce the large-scale urban expressway network. By comparing the cases of constructing the urban expressway network domestic and overseas, concludes the experience and evaluation index technology during the process. Finally, combined the advantages and disadvantages, take the inner race express way network of Tai zhou city as a example, using comprehensive evaluation as method, analyzed reasonableness of the network’s points, lines and the capacity scale. Based on the final analyze of the Tai zhou expressway, brought up a reasonable evaluation index system on the strength of thethird-tier cities in domestic development characteristics.
