The rutting of asphalt pavement has become one of the most serious early damage. The rutting is not only seriously affects the service level of the pavement, but also remarkably reduces the service life. So our country take the rutting as the most exigent problem to solve. Asphalt Concrete(HMAC) has the excellent antirutting performance,it provide a new way to solve the rutting problem. Based on rutting mainly appear below the surface of the asphalt pavement., HMAC-20 gradation has been designed and the road performance has been verified. HMAC for application in highway engineering has important practical significance.According to the function requirement, HMAC out technology requirements of its raw materials. For HMAC-20 in Bailey method is used to determine the thickness of aggregates, filling in the boundary of the method of coarse aggregate gradation design, according to VCA mineral aggregate strength and skeleton, evaluation indexes CBR coarse aggregate size between the best proportion. For fine aggregate adopts n= 0.45 formula to calculate the wave get the best proportion between each size. Using different degree of aggregate ratio of quality level, and combined design of optimization.To optimize the gradation and AC and SUP type gradation asphalt mixture standard rutting test and variable temperature variable pressure on high-temperature rutting test performance test, analyses the quality of aggregate thickness and the evaluation index, furrow with high performance to levels were analyzed. For low temperature testing, analysis and quality of aggregate thickness of low-temperature evaluation indexes. Using Marshall immersion test, freeze-thaw splitting method of test and FeiZhu levels of asphalt mixture for water stability. At all levels of asphalt mixture of static test, and analyzes the modulus of each factor to influence the modulus. A single axle penetration and direct shear tests, through uniaxial penetration and direct shear correlation of direct shearing test proved reasonable and effective.
