Recent years, with the rapid development of China’s transportation industry,highgrade highway cement concrete bridge with large span is increasing. The rut hasbecome one of the most serious forms in the bridge deck pavement’s early destructions.The study of bridge deck pavement diseases and prevention and control has become ahot problem. High Modulus Asphalt Concrete has excellent anti-rutting performance.This paper relys on Gansu province Highway Bridge asphalt concrete bridge deckpavement key technology research topic. It combines with the bridge deck pavement ofBaotian Expressway Tianshui crossing section Laohugou super large bridge, prepareshigh modulus composite modified asphalt and bitumen mixture through somemodification way, is used for cement concrete bridge asphalt pavement layer. And itmakes system research from material composition and way-use performance, themechanical properties. So it has important realistic significance in improving the qualityof our cement concrete bridge deck pavement.This article works through the theoretical analysis and the indoor test, uses naturalrock SBS modified asphalt, asphalt and blends with high modulus composite modifiedasphalt, looks for rock asphalt’s optimum content, researches on the compound highmodulus bituminous mixture’s properties. And it discusses the high modulus asphaltmixture’s change rule about viscoelastic properties; relys on the highway bridge deckpavement construction site, Put forward the construction craft of the compound highmodulus asphalt bridge deck pavement materials. The main research contents include:It puts different proportions of the mixed quantity to the finished SBS modifiedasphalt. And then it puts forward the method of preparing high modulus compositemodified asphalt indoor. Throughout the research to the composite modified asphaltbasic performance and Brookfield of apparent viscosity, it puts forward the performanceindicators of composite modified asphalt, makes sure the appropriate blendingproportion scope.It makes SHRP cementing material on the experimental research for differentproportion of the composite modified asphalt.It uses high temperature level, with PGanti-rutting factor, the phase Angle, and brinell rotary viscometer of differenttemperature, RTFO aging performance changes before and after to establish thecomposite index of the modified asphalt evaluation system, draws a viscosity-temperature curve.Based on the engineering combined, it uses the optimum content of compositemodified asphalt and two optimizing gradation to prepare SUP-20high modulus asphaltmixture. It evaluates the high temperature stability, the low temperature crack sex, waterstability and Fatigue property in system. At the same time, it completes the propertycomparison research between rock high-grade SBS asphalt compound modification highmodulus asphalt mixture and SBS modified asphalt mixture of property comparisonresearch.With reference to the current domestic asphalt pavement related standard andAASHTO norms, it uses the AMPT to research SUP-20high modulus of asphaltmixture in different temperatures and load frequency under dynamic modulus.Analyzing the temperature and load frequency to the dynamic modulus and theinfluence of the phase Angle, it makes sure the rock SBS asphalt mixture compoundmodification of the dynamic modulus Lord curve and time-temperature transformationfactor, has carried on the beneficial discussion of the high modulus of asphalt mixture ofviscoelastic properties.Combined with rely on engineering, it puts forward the high modulus asphaltconcrete bridge’s deck pavement field modification process (dryblending method) andconstruction guidelines. Through the sample performance test to the high modulus ofasphalt mixture of bridge deck pavement, it masters the method to control high modulusasphalt bridge’s deck pavement construction quality, provides the basis and thereference for the high modulus asphalt concrete bridge deck pavement’spopularization and application.
