| Beam transfer with haunch braces is a new type structure.,which is a transfer structure type between column and beam transfer.Compareing with the beam transfer,it has the following advantages:(1) the span of the transfer beam can be decreased by setting the brace,so the internal forces and section size of the transfer beam can be reduced,the problem of the vertical stiffness concentration of beam-shaped transfer can be solved and the force transmition of the beam-shaped transfer structure can be changed. (2) the shearing forces of the end of the transfer beam can be reduced and the design for the transfer structure becomes easily. Compareing with olumn transfer, beam transfer with haunch braces can save room and make it more convenient for the layout. Although Beam- transfer with haunch braces has bright future of development and application, the research on its mechanical characteristics and failure mechanism have never been seen. To discuss the mechanical characteristics and failure mechanism of the new type transfer structure,the main works can be concluded as follows:(1) Use PMSAP to analyse the linear elastic behavior under vertical and horizontal loads of the six types beam transfer structure with haunch brace.find the internal force distribution of the six types structure under various factors and analyse force transmition and failure mechanism of each one.(2) Use PMSAP to analyse the reaction on the six types structure with Shear wall on side and disvover the advantages.(3) Carry out nonlinear finite element analysis using ABAQUS to two types beam transfer with haunch braces in common used,find the maximal stress and failure mechanism together with the Linear elastic result.The six new-types beam transfer structure with brace have their advantages and week points comparing with the traditional beam transfer structure according to the analysis reasults. Strengthen treatments should be done in allusion to each structure type in design.Restricted with the condition, this paper is just a preliminary study on force transmition and failure mechanism on each beam transfer structure with haunch braces. To comprehensively understand its seismic behavior and seismic response, further study works need to be carried out. |
