In the paper the mechanics performance of the reinforced concrete (RC) transfer beam and steel reinforced concrete (SRC) transfer beam of a high building, and the combined action between the SRC beam and its upper shear wall have been studied. On the base of previous analysis a method to calculate the limit bearing capacity of the steel reinforced transfer beam is proposed. The SRC transfer beam structure has many advantages what the other two struc tures have: transfer girder can transfer loads direct and clear, it is convenient for calculation and design, and the price of building is economical and etc. Meanwhile transfer girder sustains immense loads and the stress state is very complex and usually a bigger size is essential. Adoption of SRC member to transfer girder can reduce the size of element, lighten the weight of building, reduce the consumption of material, and increase the seismic capability effectively. In this paper, the author researches the stress state in SRC girder. Combining with an engineering instance, basing on the current specifications and a certain construction, the transfer girder structure is analyzed by the method of finite element. The present works are mainly as follows: According to the bending destroy form of the reinforced concrete beam, a method is offered to calculate the limit bending bear-capacity of the steel reinforced transfer beam and upper shear wall cooperated together. According to the shearing destroy form of the reinforced concrete beam, a method is offered to calculate the limit shearing bear-capacity numeration method of the steel reinforced transfer beam and upper shear wall cooperated together. Combining with the project instance and on the basis of the whole analysis for the structure of the high building, the stress distribution of the multi-span SRC girder structure is studied. ANSYS8.0 software is utilized to carry on non-linear finite element analysis through setting up three-dimensional solid model and avail numerical solution is obtained; By use of the proposed calculation formula, a lot of works have been finished that to calculate the bending, shearing bear-capacity of the steel reinforced transfer beam and upper shear wall cooperated together, and to verify the results of deflection computation. Numerical results show that it gets a satisfactory unity by comparison. According to the correlated national standard and regulation, corresponding form to this kind of structure is conducted. The result of study shows that the SRC transfer beam structure has obviously strengthened the bearing capacity of the whole structure.
