Both Seismic isolated structure system and passive energy dissipation structure system are new passive control system, which are different from the traditional anti-seismic structure system. In accordance with bearings of seismic isolation between the different positions, the seismic isolated structure system is divided into base isolation and interlayer seismic isolation. Isolated structure system changes the energy dissipation mechanism of traditional anti-seismic structure, i.e. the earthquake energy is absorbed and dissipated by energy dissipative device set in an isolation layer rather than by the structure or structure element.The theory of interlayer seismic isolation technology and damper energy dissipation technology, and the mechanical property of bearings are discussed in the paper. Furthermore, a dynamic model of the interlayer seismic isolation is established and the global mass and stiffness matrixes for the structure are deduced, and the calculation method of dynamic Time-History analysis is given for the interlayer seismic isolation structure and damper energy dissipation structure.By taking a 12-story frame structure as an example, the four models of anti-seismic structure, interlayer seismic isolated structure, damper energy dissipated structure, interlayer seismic isolated and damper energy dissipated structure are established based on ANSYS program in the paper. According to earthquake Time-History analysis, the response of displacement, interlayer displacement and acceleration of the four type structures are given and the numerical results of the four type structures are compared. It is illustrated that the damping effect for the interlayer seismic isolated structure and damper energy dissipated structure is efficient, and the interlayer seismic isolated and damper energy dissipated structure is better among the four type structures.
