In recent years China's escalators and automatic sidewalks developped rapidly, the annual demand is about 5,000. In the subway stations, airport, department store and other public places, the escalator is an indispensable means of transport tools.The design and manufacture technology of China's escalator has been close to the world's advanced level, but the rapid, replanting, the high degree of upgrading, more slope, more curved escalator technology research needs to be further developed. Those escalators on the main support structure-metal steel-framed structure have higher demandment.Now on the market, escalator steel-framed structures have some problems, such as clumsy appearance, since the major, high cost and safety factor issues the coefficient, a great improvement of its practical significance. However, in the calculation of the escalator steel-framed structures in the process of "being out of moving body", the parameters of its calculation can be shortened designning cycle and improve designning efficiency, thereby reducing the design costs to enterprises to improve economic efficiency,enhance the capability to develop new products and industry's competitiveness of escalators is also imperative.In this paper, based on the system's demandment, the escalator steel-framed will be divided into two types. The one of its is the standard to upgrade a high degree, another is non-standard and ahighdegree.The standard type will be divided into 2-4m,4-5m,5-6m upgrade of three high steel-framed structure. According to the production drawings from parameters, the parameters design language of ANSYS-APDL completed the parameters of the finite element modeling, loading, analysis and calculation of post-processing and automated process, including the main parameters of the finite element modeling, analytical(Including the strength,stiffnes sandstability),dnamic analysis (including modal analysis and seismic loads of transient analysis). The total weight of the escalator steel-framed is the goal of optimize.the escalator steel-framed section size optimization, can be more reasonable cross-section of economic size. APDL language of the drum has been eloped finite element analysis of GM's core program, using Visual Basic language and the development of software interface, establishment the data tables by Access database tools and query the database and call data to calculation.Participation, the text will be in the form of statements of various parameters and the full results to be saved.The escalator steel-framed finite element analysis results compared with the results of enterprise experience value showed that compared with the actual state, to meet business needs.
