Aluminum has become important basic primary material industry in development of national economy. The carbon anode as "heart" for aluminum production, due to it involving in aluminum electrochemical reaction directly, its quality and working condition create huge influence on current efficiency and energy consumption of aluminum. Making reasonable thermal regulation for anode baking furnace, proceeding theoretical research for baking process essence in anode baking furnace, understanding interdependence of flow field and temperature field in process of baking, discovering interacting rule of baking structure, flow field distribute and anode heat transfer, these have very important economic significance on improving baking' anode quality and reducing energy consumption, and these are scientific purpose making baking furnace study.Firstly, this thesis introduces anode simply, introduces anode baking principle, production technology flow and quality index in brief. It also summarizes the domestic and international anode baking technique development condition at present, and forecasts trend of development in this field of our country. All these become research guide direction of the thesis, and develop relevant study work.In order to understanding accurately thermal characteristics and physical parameters of inverse-flame baking in this thesis, making laboratory measure for samples which comes from a charcoal product factory, including raw anode, plugging compound and finished anode. What measure outcome offers evidence for study of physical performance, baking design and optimizing technological operation in the future.This thesis also uses local testing thermal parameters and laboratory testing character parameters as boundary condition and material property for numerical simulation, utilizes Fluent program of advanced CFD software which calculating fluid to simulate heat transfer and fume flow in inverse-flame baking. This simulation mainly makes twice different improvement for quirk construction in inverse-flame baking. Seems from simulate outcome, these two methods makes corresponding improvemet to heat transfer and velocity spread in quirk. Testing of physical parameters in laboratory and simulating for quirk of baking makes prepare for making reasonable thermal regulation of anode baking furnace. This thesis takes actual baking curve in a charcoal product factory as example, uses Fluent software simulate baking curve which finished renovation to temperature field and velocity field in work bin and anode, the simulate outcome indicates that the finished baking curve meets that factory reality, and reach the aim to improve anode quality.
