The micro-meter can solve the sealing problem and greatly improve the anti-sliding performance of the pavement.The rubber asphalt gravel seal has excellent deformation coordination ability and crack resistance,but its stones are easy to peel off.Combining the two as a rubber asphalt cape seal can complement each other and serve as a good means for asphalt pavement maintenance and reconstruction.This paper investigates and studies the application of cape seals at home and abroad,the materials used in asphalt pavements in Zhejiang Province and the main types of asphalt pavement are studied.Through systematic laboratory experiments,the paper studies the optimal combination,technical performance and influencing factors of micro-surface and rubber asphalt cape seal in theory.In view of the characteristics of rubber asphalt cape seal in hot and humid areas,five aspects of rubber asphalt cape sealing technology are studied: Firstly,it proposes corresponding preventive maintenance requirements for the local traffic and climate characteristics of Zhejiang Province.The combination type of rubber asphalt cape seal and its applicability are preliminarily defined.Secondly,the mixture ratio of the surface micro-meter of the rubber asphalt cape sealing layer is designed,and the mixture ratio of the surface micro-meter is optimized based on the water-resistant peeling test.The recommended grade value is determined.Thirdly,the orthogonal test design method is used to compare the high temperature stability of different combinations of rubber gravel seals through uniaxial penetration test to determine the best combination form and influencing factors.Fourthly,the slip resistance and peeling resistance test of three different combinations of rubber asphalt cape seals were studied to determine the amount of micro-meter,and the sealing performance of different combinations of rubber cape seals was studied by infiltration test.Then based on the surface function research,the low temperature crack resistance and fatigue properties of three different types of rubber asphalt cape seals were studied.Finally,through the paving and long-term observation of test road,the construction technology of rubber asphalt cape seal was expounded and the economic analysis is carried out using the equivalent annual cost method.The experimental research shows that the double-layer rubber asphalt cape seal is superior to the single-layer rubber asphalt cape seal and the double-layer flip rubber asphalt cape seal in high temperature stability and fatigue performance,but in the low temperature crack resistance,the double-layer flip rubber asphalt cape seal is optimal;the high temperature stability of rubber asphalt cape seal is poor compared with AC-16(SBS)asphalt concrete,but its low temperature crack resistance and fatigue performance are much better than AC-16(SBS)asphalt concrete;In terms of average annual cost,the economics of the cape seal is the best.From the surface function and other aspects,the cape seal also has advantages.
