| Rubber asphalt gravel seal coat is an excellent functional layer of the asphalt pavement, which is often used in new construction and rebuilding of the asphalt pavement, asphalt concrete bridge deck pavement, cement concrete pavement paving reconstruction and other projects. The main purpose of this functional layer is to waterproof and adhesive, stress reduction, anti-reflective pavement crack. However, the selection and evaluation of raw materials of rubber asphalt gravel seal coat, performance evaluation, road performance research, etc are still in the blank, the study on road performance of asphalt rubber gravel seal coat is very important.This paper firstly analyzes the structure and performance characteristics of asphalt rubber gravel seal coat,and proposed technical requirements of raw materials. And analyzes the reflection crack and expand mechanism of pavement structure which setting different structural types of rubber asphalt gravel seal coat through FRANC2D software. Secondly analyzed road performance of rubber asphalt gravel seal coat through a series of indoor test, and compared and analyzed bonding properties, fatigue properties of rubber asphalt single chip seal and rubber asphalt inverled seal. Analyzed the influence of the hydrodynamic pressure on the two types of rubber asphalt gravel seal coat in use of "multi-functional asphalt mixture dynamic permeable test instrument"and "asphalt pavement materials moving water pressure flushing tester". The results of this study indicate:2cm rubber asphalt inverled seal can effectively control reflective cracking, improve binder properties between old cement concrete and asphalt pavement, resist the erosion of hydrodynamic pressure, extend the life of the pavement structure. Finally with cement concrete pavement reconstruction project in Shandong, paved the rubber asphalt inverled seal test road, and summarizes the key construction craft through the experimental road construction and observation.
