| Intelligent vehicle is the fundamental way to solve the traffic safety problem and improve the operation efficiency, the assessment of IV is an important part of the IV study. With the continuous in-depth study of IV, the assessment becomes more and more important. Every new idea needs to be tested through the assessment, and a viable program requires repeated experiments to complete. The traditional method for this area is not effective and there is also a lack of professional indicators to measure the IV performance. To ensure the smooth study of IV, it is necessary to research on the IV assessment.In this paper, the research works are as follows:The pose of the vehicle is the premise and foundation of IV assessment. In this paper, the dual GPS based positioning method is studied, UTC time stamp is used to complete the dual GPS synchronization, a GPS installation error elimination method based on M-estimate is proposed. The experiments show that the method has high pose accuracy.Second, build an index system for IV assessment. Use positioning performance indicator, vehicle control indicator and obstacle detection performance indicators as the first level indexes. Compared with the traditional method of positioning performance assessment, the time and space division method has been proposed, and the method can better reflect the positioning performance. Not only use tracking error but also use the number of through trajectory which can reflect the tremble of the control method, to assess the vehicle control performance. For obstacle detection assessment, put the method which is only for the computer vision to a more general approach, on the base of using the missing rate and false-alarm rate, propose reliable index to value the different effect of missing rate and false-alarm rate. The data shows the usefulness of the index system.Finally, the method to determine the weight of indicators is studied. In this paper, Use Analytic Hierarchy Process method to determine index weight, Check the consistency of level determine-matrix and total determine-matrix, give the weight of indicator of the intelligent vehicle performance assessment. |
