Water supply security is directly related to people's lives and health, and sustainable development of economic society. In Yinzhou district,the total water resources volume is 11.08 billion Cubic meter, of which 10.09 billion Cubic meter is surface water. Although six Medium and large intensive water supply reservoir have been completed. As the management system and institutions is not perfect, system of water resources management property rights is fuzzy,it leads to problems such as water pollution, water quality deterioration, decline in water quality, water resources waste and so on. Agricultural pollution and domestic pollution are the fundamental causes to lead the general exceeding of total nitrogen and total phosphorus. Facing the tendency of Water body's increasingly serious eutrophication, the pressure of water resource protection is great.Based on the guidance of scientific outlook on development, this thesis selects the water supply reservoir water source in Yinzhou district of Ningbo city as a sample, use the macro and micro, qualitative and quantitative, integrating theory and empirical research methods, investigate the pollution status of water source protection areas deeply, Analyze problems of water resource protection,draw on the latest research from home and abroad, to formulate strategies and measures of water resource protection,and construct a long-term management system of water resources protection in water conservation intensive water supply reservoir.Based on the target of protecting the security of supplying reservoir's water quality,this thesis put forward a general framework of sustainable water resource protection,improve the management system of water source, introduct the ecological compensation mechanism,adopt High-tech means such as GIS,increase force of pollution controlling in water source,strengthen protection of water source circle. If we want to Establish and improve reservoir water laws and regulations of environmental protection and safety,compile environmental protection and security plan of reservoir, implement the most stringent water management system,it is significant to Fully mobilize the masses, rely on the masses, improve the mechanism of reservoir water resources management system, adopt two-circle protection mode of drinking water source and ecological compensation model,to improve protection benefits of water resources.
