| With the natural environmental deterioration, emission regulations are getting more and more strictly. Considering China being a large motorcycle producer and consumer, the problem of motorcycle emission is an increasingly concern in our society. Manufacturers are facing the technical challenge of providing consumers with cost-effective products, which can also reach the Stageâ…¢Emission Regulation. Although the application of electronic fuel injection system and Three-way Catalytic Converter tactics can make the motorcycle reach the Stageâ…¢Emission Regulation, it will increase product cost and create troubles in after-sales service. Therefore the application of non-electronic technology tactics in small and medium displacement motorcycles is cost-effective and engineering application values.We design the"TPS Ignition technical tactics"in this paper, which uses TPS Ignition System, Optimizing Carburetor, Secondary-air Device and Three-way Catalytic Converter to make the emission of motorcycle equipped with carburetor engine reach Stageâ…¢Emission Regulation in ZS125-A Motorcycle.We make researches in five ways in this paper as follow:1.Designing the TPS Ignition System;2.Optimizing Carburetor;3.Designing Secondary-air Device;4.Choosing properly Three-way Catalytic Converter.5.Testing ZS125-A Motorcycle in running mode.According to the experimental results, the conclusions by us show that:1.TPS Ignition System and Secondary-air Device must be used with Three-way Catalytic Converter to make the emission of CO reach Stageâ…¢Emission Regulation;2.The emission of HC generally can meet the regulation;3.TPS ignition technology could effectively reduce both the emission of NOx, and the demand of three-way catalytic converter to the catalytic reduction of NOx;4.Pollutants Emission Control System can be up to durability standard;5. Using the TPS ignition technical tactics could make ZS125-A Motorcycle reach China Stageâ…¢Emission Regulation.
